Privacy policy
This site is a marketing site with one contact form on it. That keeps this policy shorter than most: below is exactly what we collect, why we have it, who else can see it and how to make us delete it.
Effective: 31 August 2026
Template — review by counsel required before launch
This document is a good-faith starting point written to describe how this website actually works. It is not legal advice and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. ScaleUp must have its own counsel review it before launch, against the jurisdictions the company operates in and the systems it genuinely uses.
Who we are
ScaleUp IT Solution, trading as ScaleUp IT Solution, is a technology services company. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean that company; "you" means anyone visiting this website or contacting us through it.
We are the controller of the personal information described here. For any question about it, write to info@suitsol.com. We answer within one working day.
What this policy covers
This policy covers https://suitsol.com and the enquiry form on it. It does not cover client project work, where the handling of data is governed by the written agreement and any data processing addendum signed for that engagement, nor does it cover third-party websites we link to.
Information you give us
The contact form is the only place on this site where you are asked to provide information about yourself. It collects:
- Your name — required, so we know who we are replying to.
- Your email address — required, because it is how we reply.
- Your phone number — optional.
- Your company name — optional.
- The service you are interested in — optional, chosen from a list.
- Your message — required, and entirely in your own words.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server log data when a page is served: the requesting IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, the referring page and the browser's user-agent string. This is ordinary web infrastructure data, kept for security and diagnostics.
This site does not run advertising trackers, third-party analytics scripts or social media pixels, and it does not build a profile of you. Any browser storage the site uses is limited to remembering display preferences, such as light or dark theme, on your own device. If we add analytics or any cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use what you send through the contact form for one purpose: to answer your enquiry and, if it leads somewhere, to discuss the work. We do not sell it, rent it, or add it to a marketing list without your explicit agreement.
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies to you, our lawful basis is legitimate interests — responding to a business enquiry you initiated — and, where an enquiry leads towards a contract, steps taken at your request prior to entering into one. Server log data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure.
Who else sees it
We keep the list of parties with access deliberately short. Your enquiry may be handled by:
- Our hosting and infrastructure provider, which operates the servers this site runs on.
- The inbox and workflow service that receives submitted enquiries and routes them to the responsible person.
- Our email provider, through which we reply to you.
- Professional advisers, or a competent authority, where we are legally obliged to disclose.
- Nobody else. We do not pass enquiries to advertising networks, data brokers or lead resellers.
Where your information is processed
We are based in the United States and our service providers are, in the main, United States companies, so information you send us is likely to be processed there. If you contact us from the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or another region with transfer restrictions, sending the form means your information will be transferred to the United States. Where such a transfer requires a safeguard, we rely on the standard contractual clauses or an equivalent mechanism in our agreements with the providers concerned.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to twenty-four months, so that we can recognise a returning contact and pick up the thread, and are then deleted. Enquiries that become client engagements are retained for the life of the relationship and for as long afterwards as tax, accounting and limitation rules require. Server logs are retained on a short rolling window, typically no more than ninety days.
You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner. Unless we have a legal reason to keep it, we will.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Residents of the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area have these rights under the GDPR; residents of California have comparable rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
To exercise any of these, email info@suitsol.com with enough detail for us to find your record. We do not charge for this and we will respond within one month, or sooner. We may need to verify your identity before acting, which for an emailed enquiry usually means replying from the address that sent it.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we have never done so.
If you believe we have handled your information badly, please tell us first — we would rather fix it. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority: in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office; in the European Economic Area, the supervisory authority for your country.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are transmitted encrypted, and access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it to do their job. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. Please do not send passwords, payment card details, health information or other sensitive material through the contact form; if we need something of that kind, we will arrange a secure channel for it.
Children
This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Where we link to another organisation's website, that site's own privacy policy governs what happens there. We have no control over how third parties handle your information and we are not responsible for their practices.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes we update the effective date at the top of the page. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will make that clear rather than rely on the date alone.
